Iran’s Missile Strikes Cripple US Air Operations Center in Qatar, Report Reveals

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the American publication Air & Space Forces Magazine has disclosed that the United States’ Joint Air Operations Center at Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar was taken offline due to direct Iranian missile strikes during the initial weeks of the conflict. This revelation comes from data published by the Mehr News Agency.
The report, citing a senior U.S. official, stated that the center, which had managed American air offensives in the Middle East for more than 20 years, ceased operations after successful Iranian missile attacks. Previously, details regarding the extent of damage to this facility had not been publicly released.
Given the base’s proximity to Iran, significant questions are now being raised about the strategic benefit of rebuilding the center. This command hub had overseen U.S. military interventions in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, and Yemen.
