Israeli Newspaper Claims Netanyahu’s Lebanon Operation is Propaganda Stunt

An Israeli newspaper has reported that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s recent operation in southern Lebanon, involving the occupation of the Shqif Castle, was primarily a publicity stunt aimed at bolstering his image amidst a struggling conflict. Analysts suggest the move lacks significant field achievement.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Hebrew-language newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth reported that the occupation of Shqif Castle in southern Lebanon in recent days was undertaken with the aim of re-emphasizing the country’s failed war. The report stated that Benjamin Netanyahu utilized the occupation of this castle in a desperate manner to create a proud image and redirect public opinion regarding the unsuccessful war in the northern regions.

The report further emphasized that returning to Shqif Castle, which had once become a symbol for an entire generation, no longer holds significance. It is worth noting that some time ago, Netanyahu, amidst considerable media fanfare, announced the occupation of Shqif Castle in Lebanon. This action, from the perspective of Zionist analysts, appears to be more of a publicity move than a substantial field accomplishment.
