US Secretary of State Consults with Kuwaiti Emir on Regional Security and Stability

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah held a meeting with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken to consult on bilateral relations and strategies for their enhancement at all levels. The two leaders exchanged views on the latest regional and international issues, as well as current developments in the Middle East. Discussions also focused on efforts to bolster security and stability within the region. Earlier, Secretary Blinken had met with Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Talal Al-Yahya to discuss strengthening bilateral ties and the strategic partnership between the two nations. The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs highlighted the ongoing trajectory of Kuwait-US relations, emphasizing the importance of continued expansion in areas of mutual cooperation. The foreign ministers of Kuwait and the United States also shared perspectives on recent regional and international developments following the signing of a memorandum of understanding between Iran and the United States. Both sides underscored the significance of sustained dialogue and diplomacy in resolving regional issues and supporting international endeavors aimed at consolidating security and peace in the region.
