Two Tankers Explode in Strait of Hormuz Southbound Lane

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Public Relations Department issued Statement No. 34, announcing that two offending oil tankers caught fire and stopped following an explosion. The tankers were reportedly attempting to pass through the southern, dangerous route of the Strait of Hormuz, allegedly misled by the “child-killing American army.” Rescue and relief units are currently in the process of evacuating the crews from the vessels.

The IRGC Navy has reissued a warning to shipping companies, urging them to prioritize the safety of their crews and vessels. They advised against relying on false information from the U.S. military and recommended avoiding contaminated and dangerous routes.

The statement reiterated that as long as American “malice” continues in the region, the Strait of Hormuz will remain closed, preventing the export of any oil, gas, or chemical fertilizer from the area. The IRGC also indicated that punitive operations have commenced against infringing American bases due to maritime violations, with a report to be presented on the matter.
