US Secretary of State Claims Iran Lacks Seriousness in Negotiations

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio asserted that Iran is not serious in negotiation processes, despite Washington’s readiness for dialogue to resolve regional disputes. This comes as U.S. Central Command reported continued strikes on targets in Iran.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio claimed during a summit of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) that Washington is prepared for discussions, negotiations, and the resolution of disputes in West Asia, but Iran is not serious in the negotiation process. This report is based on data published by Mehr News Agency, citing Al Jazeera.

Rubio also commented on regional developments, alleging that the blockage of international waterways could become a dangerous precedent, threatening global trade security.

These claims by the U.S. Secretary of State were made as the United States Central Command (CENTCOM) reported carrying out strikes on targets in Iran for the eleventh consecutive night.
