Yemen Conducts Major Strikes on Saudi Aramco Facilities Amid Ongoing Blockade

Yemen’s armed forces announced the successful execution of two significant military operations targeting Saudi Aramco facilities in Jizan and Yanbu, asserting that the blockade on the Yemeni people continues unabated.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Yahya Saree, the spokesperson for Yemen‘s armed forces, stated that the Saudi enemy launched a criminal attack on the city and port of Hodeidah and the island of Kamaran, causing material and moral damage. Saree reported that Yemen’s air defense systems engaged enemy aircraft after airspace violations, preventing further atrocities against the Yemeni people.

He further detailed two major military operations: the first involved targeting Saudi Aramco facilities in Jizan with numerous ballistic missiles and drones, while the second operation struck sensitive Aramco-affiliated targets in Yanbu with multiple missiles and drones. Both operations, Saree emphasized, were successful, delivering precise and direct blows to the enemy.

The spokesperson highlighted that the continued escalation by the Saudi enemy demonstrates their insistence on maintaining the blockade against the Yemeni people and violating the country’s sovereignty. He asserted that the free, faithful, and resilient Yemeni nation will confront this aggression powerfully. Yemen remains committed to its duty of defending its country and people with honor and responsibility, promising only resistance and confrontation from the criminal enemy.

Saree reaffirmed that the maritime blockade imposed by Yemen in response to the reciprocal aggression and unjust 12-year blockade by Saudi Arabia remains in place. He concluded by stating that Yemen will not hesitate to expand the scope of its actions and escalate its steps based on future developments, operating within the framework of a siege-for-siege and escalation-for-escalation equation.
