Gaza Conflict Escalates: Israeli Strikes Leave Two Dead, Over Ten Wounded in Two Hours

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, reports from the Shehab News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency, indicate that two Palestinians were martyred and over ten others sustained injuries, with several in critical condition, after the Israeli regime conducted four drone attacks on various areas of the Gaza Strip in less than two hours.

Medical sources confirmed that Brigadier General Abdel Nasser Mohammed Al-Maqadmeh, the Police Chief of North Gaza Governorate, was martyred in an Israeli strike in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, located northwest of Gaza City. He was 54 years old. Additionally, Hamam Eid, a Palestinian physician, succumbed to his severe injuries sustained from an attack on a tent in the Al-Sawarka area in the central Gaza Strip.

In the city of Deir al-Balah, an Israeli drone strike near the entrance of Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital resulted in injuries to a number of Palestinians, some of whom are in critical condition. Another attack on a vehicle near Abu Shurkh Square in the Jabalia town, north of the Gaza Strip, severely wounded a Palestinian citizen.

A Palestinian also died from injuries sustained in previous attacks by the occupying army.

These intensified attacks are part of the occupying regime’s continuous violation of the ceasefire agreement. These violations include aerial bombardments, assassination operations, and targeting civilians, refugee camps, and civilian infrastructure in various areas of the Gaza Strip.

Concurrently, the occupying regime continues to expand the so-called ‘red line’ and reduce safe zones, actions that exacerbate the humanitarian crisis and lead to an increase in civilian casualties.
