Turkish and Saudi Military Chiefs Discuss Regional Stability and Bilateral Ties

The Chiefs of General Staff of Turkey and Saudi Arabia held a phone conversation to discuss bilateral relations and regional issues, amid broader discussions between the two nations’ defense ministers aimed at enhancing military cooperation and promoting regional peace.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Chief of General Staff of the Turkish Armed Forces, Selçuk Bayraktaroğlu, engaged in a telephone discussion today with his Saudi counterpart, Chief of the General Staff Fayyad bin Hamed Al-Ruwayli. The conversation centered on bilateral relations and pressing regional matters.

Concurrently, Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Defense, Khalid bin Salman, and Turkey‘s Minister of National Defense, Yaşar Güler, also held a phone call to review current regional developments with the objective of achieving regional stability. During their discussion, both ministers explored avenues for strengthening and expanding military and defense cooperation between their respective countries.

This call, initiated by the Saudi Minister of Defense, also facilitated an exchange of views on a range of significant regional and international issues, alongside discussions concerning the latest regional developments and joint efforts towards peacebuilding.
