Spain Condemns Israeli Settler Attacks in West Bank

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Spanish government has once again vehemently condemned the persistent violence perpetrated by Israeli settlers, who continue to act with impunity against the Palestinian populace in the West Bank. In a statement referencing an incident on Friday during a settler attack on the village of Tuqu’, the government noted: ‘Another unprovoked attack by settlers resulted in the deaths of four Palestinian civilians and two Israeli settlers.’ Spain urged the Israeli regime to ‘take the necessary measures to de-escalate and ensure that those responsible for these attacks are brought to justice.’ The statement further asserted that Israel ‘must revoke its settlement expansion policies and its protection of settler violence against the Palestinian civilian population, and fulfill its obligations as the occupying power in Palestine.’
