Iraqi Prime Minister Al-Sudani to Visit Ankara for Official Talks

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani will travel to Ankara, the capital of Turkey, for an official visit this coming Tuesday. The trip is described as important and is expected to lead to discussions and agreements on crucial areas including security cooperation, economic investment, and energy partnerships.
Sources indicate that during the visit, both nations will coordinate efforts in the oil and energy sectors, aiming to boost trade exchanges. Discussions will also encompass broader regional and international matters relevant to both Iraq and Turkey. The delegation accompanying the Prime Minister is expected to include key figures involved in foreign policy and economic development.
This visit follows a recent trip by a delegation from Iraq’s oil sector to Turkey. The purpose of that prior delegation was to finalize arrangements for the export of Iraqi oil through official Turkish channels, suggesting a strengthening of energy ties ahead of the Prime Minister’s visit.
