US Republican Lawmaker States War with Iran Has Weakened America

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Thomas Massie, a Republican representative in the U.S. Congress, has stated that the war with Iran has considerably weakened the United States. He indicated that the U.S. government has overlooked domestic American interests by reducing missile defense capabilities, depleting strategic reserves, and increasing public debt.
Massie further accused the U.S. administration of imposing heavy costs on the nation’s economy and people in exchange for supporting the Zionist regime.
Earlier, U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth had announced that the cost of the war against Iran had reached $37.5 billion to date. However, CBS network, citing its sources, reported that the actual cost of this war exceeds the stated figure, with some expenses, such as the reconstruction of damaged U.S. bases, not included in this estimate.
