Palestinians Detained in West Bank Raids Amidst Property Destruction and Abuse

Palestinian sources report a wave of arrests across the West Bank over the past two days, with Israeli forces conducting extensive raids on homes, causing terror, and damaging property in cities including Nablus, Tulkarm, and Hebron.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, data released by the Palestinian Information Center, citing Al-Ahed News, indicates that Palestinian prisoner advocacy groups have documented a significant number of detentions in the West Bank over the last 48 hours. The majority of these arrests reportedly occurred in the provinces of Nablus, Tulkarm, and Hebron, following widespread incursions into residential areas and the instillation of fear among local populations.

During these raids, occupying forces are alleged to have engaged in the destruction of homes and property, as well as conducting on-site interrogations, torture, and mistreatment of residents. These operations were reportedly carried out with the accompaniment and cooperation of armed Zionist settlers.

The Center for the Defense of Palestinian Prisoners stated that these detentions are part of a pattern of collective punishment and retaliation against the inhabitants of the West Bank. The report further emphasized that the continuation of these arrests and aggressions against civilians constitutes a blatant violation of international laws and human rights.

The Center for the Defense of Palestinian Prisoners has called upon the international community to protect Palestinian residents of the West Bank from the crimes perpetrated by the occupation forces and Zionist settlers, urging an end to these transgressions.
