Yemen Forces Strike Key Saudi Oil Transport Points

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Yahya Saree, the spokesperson for Yemen‘s armed forces, announced that several critical locations involved in the supply and transfer of crude oil from eastern Saudi Arabia to Yanbu were targeted by drones. Saree stated that this action was a direct response to alleged violations of Yemeni airspace by Saudi enemy drones.

This development follows a report from the maritime intelligence firm Windward, which indicated a significant 40% reduction in crude oil loadings at Saudi Arabia’s Yanbu port after July 19th. Previously, a Yemeni source informed Al Mayadeen network that the country’s armed forces had targeted three Saudi oil tankers within the preceding 48 hours. The same source also reported that a total of 16 Saudi vessels have been compelled to turn back since last Monday after being denied passage. According to this source, no Saudi oil tanker, either en route or returning, has successfully transited the Bab al-Mandab Strait since Saudi Arabia imposed a maritime blockade on Yemen.
