US-Owned LNG Storage Facility in Egypt Targeted in Drone Attack

An American-owned floating liquefied natural gas (LNG) storage facility in Damietta, Egypt, has been targeted by at least one drone, according to maritime security firm Ambrey.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, maritime security firm Ambrey announced on Wednesday that a floating liquefied natural gas (LNG) storage facility with American ownership was attacked. Reuters television reports indicated that the LNG storage facility, flying the Marshall Islands flag and located in Damietta, Egypt, was the target of at least one drone strike. No group has claimed responsibility for the incident to date.
