Qatar Prime Minister and German Foreign Minister Discuss Regional De-escalation

Qatar’s Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, held a phone call with German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock to discuss bilateral cooperation and diplomatic efforts aimed at reducing regional tensions.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Qatar‘s Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, and the Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs of Germany, Annalena Baerbock, reviewed cooperation between Qatar and Germany and explored avenues for further strengthening and developing their partnership during a telephone conversation. The discussion also encompassed the latest regional developments, particularly diplomatic initiatives and joint coordination aimed at reducing tensions and enhancing security and stability in the region.

During the call, the Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister underscored the importance of all parties adhering to dialogue and diplomacy, as well as implementing the agreement reached within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding between the United States and the Islamic Republic of Iran. He reiterated Qatar’s full support for all efforts to de-escalate tensions and achieve a comprehensive agreement that fosters lasting peace in the region.
