According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Pakistan is actively engaged in facilitating a potential resumption of talks between the United States and Iran. A spokesperson for Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that Islamabad is making every effort to revive the negotiations between the U.S. and Iran.
The Pakistani Foreign Ministry official highlighted that discussions between Tehran and Washington concerning the status of the Strait of Hormuz and de-escalation efforts are continuing. The senior Pakistani official also urged both Tehran and Washington to exercise restraint and commit to dialogue to implement any potential understanding.
These remarks from the Pakistani Foreign Ministry spokesperson come in the wake of recent statements by Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Ismail Baqai.
