Yemen Denies Attacking Ship in Egypt’s Damietta Port
A Yemeni Foreign Ministry source has refuted circulating rumors alleging an attack by Yemen on a vessel docked at Egypt’s Damietta Port, reiterating Yemen’s focus on targeting Saudi Arabia due to its ongoing blockade and assaults.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, a source affiliated with the Yemeni Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that reports suggesting Yemen attacked a ship in Egypt’s Damietta Port are factually incorrect.
The source emphasized Yemen’s clear and transparent stance, noting that Yemen exclusively targets the Saudi regime for its oppressive blockade and persistent attacks against the Yemeni people.
The official further asserted that navigation in the Red Sea remains secure, dismissing any grounds for concerns propagated by the Saudi regime. This effort, the source indicated, is an attempt by Saudi Arabia to extricate itself from its current predicament by escalating regional tensions.
