European Leaders Avoid Trump Amid Iran Tensions

European leaders are reportedly striving to stay out of U.S. President Donald Trump’s sight to prevent being drawn into potential conflict with Iran, a strategy driven by weariness of escalating regional tensions.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, European leaders are making efforts to avoid appearing before U.S. President Donald Trump, fearing he may pressure them to intervene in a war with Iran. This approach is highlighted in a report by Politico, citing data published by the Mehr News Agency.

Joel Lainanmaa, a former official from the Finnish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, emphasized that European leaders are currently doing everything they can to remain unnoticed by Trump. He added that a prevailing sentiment in Europe is exhaustion, as periods of calm are repeatedly followed by renewed escalations in tensions.

Previously, European nations had declined Trump’s requests concerning the Strait of Hormuz and confronting Iran.
