Ukrainian media sources reported on Monday, citing individuals within the office of President Volodymyr Zelensky, that a new chief has been appointed for Ukraine‘s Foreign Intelligence Service. Rustem Umerov will assume leadership of the Foreign Intelligence Service.
President Zelensky has confirmed this appointment, stating that Umerov will be assigned to this role. Previously, Umerov served as the Secretary of Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Council.
