Switzerland Engaged in Talks with Iran and US on Potential Negotiations

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Swiss Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Monday that the country is in contact with both the United States and Iran concerning potential future negotiations. Pierre-Alain Eltschinger, a spokesperson for the ministry, responded to inquiries regarding Switzerland‘s willingness to host subsequent rounds of potential talks between Tehran and Washington. He stated that Switzerland maintains contact with all relevant nations and is prepared to dedicate its efforts to this endeavor if both parties indicate their inclination.

In response to questions about the possibility of such negotiations being held again at Bürgenstock or in Geneva, the spokesperson for the Swiss Ministry of Foreign Affairs commented that the ministry does not “comment on specifics.”
