The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) has confirmed a maritime incident occurred approximately 20 nautical miles northeast of Khassab in the Sultanate of Oman, where a commercial vessel sustained damage from an unidentified projectile.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) has reported a new maritime incident off the coast of Oman. Based on data published by Mehr News Agency, citing Al Jazeera, the UKMTO stated that it received a report of an incident occurring 20 nautical miles northeast of the Khassab region in the Sultanate of Oman.

The organization, without specifying the nature of the commercial vessel, announced that the ship was damaged north-east of Khassab, Oman, as a result of being struck by an unidentified projectile.
