Lebanese Resistance Bloc Demands Halt to Government Talks with Israel Amidst Escalation

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, based on data published by Mehr News Agency, citing Al Jazeera, the Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc in the Lebanese Parliament issued a statement condemning the government’s policy of negotiating with the enemy, disregarding all its aggressions and violations.
The resistance bloc in the Lebanese Parliament emphasized, “We call on the government to halt the negotiations and concessions that have only led to Lebanon relinquishing its rights and sovereignty.”
This stance from the resistance bloc comes as the seventh round of direct negotiations between the Lebanese government and the Israeli regime concluded on Thursday in the Italian capital without reaching a specific outcome.
Simultaneously with the continuation of direct negotiations with Lebanon in Rome, the Israeli regime carried out several airstrikes on two towns in southern Lebanon on Wednesday evening. The Israeli army also reported on Thursday the killing of two of its soldiers in southern Lebanon.
