Iran Displays Wreckage of US Aircraft, Including F-15, Downed by IRGC

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has put on display the wreckage of downed American aircraft, including an F-15 fighter jet. This marks the first public exhibition of remains from an F-15 fighter that was shot down by IRGC air defenses during the Ramadan War.

A teaser released by the IRIB News Agency reveals that in addition to parts of the F-15, such as the pilot’s seat, canopy section, and part of the tail, a collection of wreckage from other downed American and Israeli aircraft, including drones and missiles, are also being showcased in a dedicated exhibition.

Brigadier General Hossein Mohebbi, spokesperson for the IRGC, stated previously in an interview with Tasnim that following a 12-day conflict, the IRGC’s Aerospace Force was tasked with initiating the production of indigenous air defense systems. This endeavor was rapidly undertaken, leading to the development and deployment of modern domestic air defense capabilities that played a significant role in the Ramadan War. One notable success during this period was the downing of an F-35 fighter jet.

Furthermore, during missile and drone attacks by the IRGC on American bases in the region, a substantial amount of enemy equipment sustained damage, with much of it being completely destroyed. This includes various radar systems, air defense batteries, AWACS and refueling aircraft, manned and unmanned fighter jets, and aircraft protection shelters.
