Yemeni Analyst: Saudi Movements Closely Monitored, Preemptive Strike Foiled Riyadh’s Attack

A Yemeni military and strategic affairs expert revealed that Sanaa’s armed forces meticulously monitored Saudi Arabia’s recent mobilization efforts, ultimately thwarting an impending attack through a preemptive strike. This action disrupted Riyadh’s plans to influence Yemeni decisions and maintain its blockade.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Brigadier General Mujeeb Shamsan, an expert in military and strategic affairs, stated that the highest levels of the Yemeni armed forces were closely observing Saudi Arabia’s recent movements to mobilize mercenaries, criminal groups, and internal actors. He emphasized that Sanaa held the upper hand in targeting due to its precise monitoring of enemy movements, troop buildups, and plans, successfully neutralizing an attack that Saudi Arabia was preparing to launch through a preemptive strike.

The Yemeni analyst further explained that the enemy’s attempts to find alternative routes or activate internal proxies are aimed at evading accountability for the Yemeni people’s demands. He noted that Saudi Arabia had exerted maximum effort to mobilize mercenaries, criminal groups, and certain internal factions to influence Sanaa’s decisions.

Shamsan attributed this move primarily to directives from Israel, which he claimed pushed Saudi Arabia down this path to exert influence over Yemen and prevent it from securing its rights or resisting the aggression and siege. He pointed out that the recent operation resulted in the deaths of hundreds of mercenaries and several Saudi officers and soldiers, with the Saudi regime gradually admitting these casualties. However, it is certain that a number of Saudi military personnel were killed during the final stages of preparations for an attack on Sanaa.

Shamsan added that Yemen also delivered another blow to Saudi enemy gatherings at the “Sahn Al-Jinn” camp, a significant military base for the enemy in Marib province and their main command center. He reiterated that the enemy’s movements and troop mobilizations were monitored, providing Sanaa with an advantage in targeting.

The Yemeni expert elaborated that Sanaa maintains meticulous surveillance over Saudi movements and possesses a comprehensive map of Riyadh’s presence, activities, and the plots it seeks to execute. Shamsan highlighted the establishment of the “siege for siege” equation and the targeting of Saudi gatherings, emphasizing that the Saudi enemy sought to pressure Sanaa by mobilizing mercenary forces and attempting to portray the current conflict as internal. He suggested that Saudi Arabia, after the direct failure of the United States and Israel in confronting Yemen, decided to deploy its regional proxies and internal mercenaries to transform the regional confrontation into a “Yemeni-Yemeni” war, while it remained behind the scenes.

He asserted that this operation solidifies the “siege” equation, preventing any action by the Saudi regime to deny Yemenis their rights. He further explained that this equation signifies Sanaa’s intention to block all avenues that the Saudis might explore to circumvent the “siege for siege” dynamic. Mujeeb Shamsan concluded by stating that Sanaa possesses a complete database detailing the formations, gatherings, and criminal groups that Saudi Arabia has mobilized to influence Sanaa.
