Al Mayadeen: US Claims of Alternative Strait of Hormuz Routes Deemed False

Al Mayadeen’s correspondent stationed in the Strait of Hormuz has asserted that the situation remains unchanged and the waterway is effectively closed, refuting U.S. claims of alternative transit routes.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, a correspondent for Al Mayadeen, reporting from the Strait of Hormuz, has emphasized that conditions in the strait are as they were previously, and it remains effectively closed. Daily observations confirm that vessels are awaiting authorization from Iran before proceeding.
The correspondent further stated that the realities on the ground prove the falsity of all U.S. publicity regarding the existence of routes other than those designated by Iran. Al Mayadeen had previously reported that dozens of ships are utilizing the transit path set by Iran in the Strait of Hormuz.
