Israeli Military Chief Surveys Southern Syria Amidst Local Abduction

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Israeli military activity in southern Syria has been reported, with sources indicating the presence of the Chief of Staff of the Israeli military in occupied zones. Al-Hadath news, citing its correspondent, reported that Lieutenant General Aviv Kochavi, the Chief of Staff of the Israeli military, was observed surveying areas under Israeli military control in southern Syria.
Concurrently, Syrian state media reported that Israeli forces released a young Syrian national who had been apprehended earlier. The Israeli occupation forces had reportedly detained the young Syrian man in the town of Jabata al-Khashab, located in the Quneitra countryside.
Earlier reports from Al-Ekhbariya Syria had detailed an incursion into Jabata al-Khashab by over one hundred Israeli soldiers accompanied by fifteen military vehicles. Following a search of residences, two individuals were reportedly taken captive by the occupying forces.
