Four Americans Killed in Helicopter Crash in Northern Kenya
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, U.S. State Department officials confirmed on Wednesday that four American nationals perished in a helicopter crash in a remote area of northern Kenya. The announcement was made in a statement released by the department, citing reports from NBC News via Mehr News Agency.
The Kenya Civil Aviation Authority reported that the helicopter went down at 9:13 AM local time on the slopes of Mount Ololokwe in Samburu County. The aircraft was carrying seven individuals, all of whom lost their lives in the crash.
A spokesperson for the U.S. State Department verified the deaths of the four Americans and stated that the U.S. Embassy is in contact with local authorities and providing consular assistance.
