Turkey Vows Continued Opposition to Netanyahu’s Policies

Turkey’s Communications Directorate President, Burhanettin Duran, has asserted that Ankara will persist in confronting the destabilizing actions of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, stating that his fabricated threats are no longer effective on the global stage.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, based on data published by the Mehr News Agency, citing Al Mayadeen, Burhanettin Duran, Head of the Communications Directorate of the Turkish Presidency, emphasized that Ankara will continue to counter the destabilizing activities of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

He added that Netanyahu’s attempts to create artificial threats and enemies to influence global public opinion are no longer yielding the expected results, and international criticism of Israel’s policies is on the rise.

Duran clarified that Netanyahu and his allies are trying to shift the responsibility for crises stemming from Tel Aviv’s policies onto regional countries.

He stated: “Accusing Turkey after Israel’s attack on Syria is a clear example of this approach.”

Duran elaborated that Israel’s stance towards Turkey is not due to considering Ankara a threat to its security, but rather stems from Turkey’s opposition to Israeli policies that undermine regional security and stability.

Duran further noted that a number of Zionist politicians have also acknowledged the reduction in the regime’s relations with its allies and the loss of some of its international standing, stating that the policy of escalating tensions with Turkey has yielded no clear achievements for Tel Aviv.

He stressed that Turkey will continue to support Syria and will not engage in games designed to undermine regional peace and stability.

Duran also called on Tel Aviv to cease its threats and to refrain from targeting Al-Aqsa Mosque and expanding settlements in the West Bank.
