According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Donald Trump, the former President of the United States, has repeated his previous assertions by publishing a new image on the social media platform Truth Social. This image places the Strait of Hormuz alongside a collection of territories and regions associated with the United States. This action comes just days after he repeatedly claimed that this waterway should be part of American territory.

In the shared image, the Strait of Hormuz is depicted alongside Puerto Rico, the Northern Mariana Islands, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, Wake Island, Washington D.C., American Samoa, the Federated States of Micronesia, and the Marshall Islands.

The former U.S. President is reportedly engaging in wishful thinking ahead of the midterm congressional elections in the country, aiming to improve the electoral prospects of Republicans.

Trump has previously made numerous territorial claims concerning various countries, including Greenland, Canada, Venezuela, and other territories.
