Yemeni Official: Saudi Crown Prince’s Efforts Ignored Amidst Military Setbacks

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Mohammed Mansour, Yemen‘s Deputy Minister of Information, emphasized that Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s desperate attempts to enlist the support of figures such as Donald Trump, the Prime Minister of Pakistan, and Egypt, alongside meetings with CENTCOM commanders, all underscore the profound success of Yemeni forces and Riyadh’s dead end.

He added that this strategic victory, encompassing military, political, and popular dimensions, represents a crucial achievement. Images released indicate the scale of blows dealt by Yemen to the Saudi and Emirati project, resulting in losses amounting to tens of billions of dollars.

Mansour further stated that political and media circles within the Israeli regime are also in a state of shock. Trump’s refusal to entertain bin Salman’s request for intervention against Yemen constituted another blow to Saudi Arabia. It is probable that Pakistan will also object to such a move. Pakistan and Turkey have not aligned their stances based on Saudi Arabia’s demands, and Riyadh is awaiting Egypt’s position, though the Egyptian army is also disinclined to involve itself in this matter.

He commented, “When the United States has opposed bin Salman’s request, who else is likely to agree? Sanaa is closely monitoring all of Riyadh’s movements.”
