According to the Fars news agency reporter, in Dushanbe, “Margaritis Shinas”, the deputy of the European Commission, met and talked with the President of Turkmenistan “Sardar Bardimohamedov” in the framework of his periodic trip to Central Asia.
In the course of this meeting, the opportunities for expanding mutually beneficial cooperation between the two sides were discussed. Europe-Central Asia” which is scheduled to be held in Brussels at the end of January this year.
According to his words, the transportation and logistics system is currently on the agenda of Turkmenistan’s participation. – European Union is considered one of the most important fields of cooperation.
The President of Turkmenistan assured in this regard that Ashgabat will actively participate in the work of this conference.
He added: The results of this conference make it possible to transform the Trans-Caspian transport corridor, which connects Central Asia and Europe, into a multimodal, modern, stable and high-speed route.
Bardimohamedov continued: the current trip of the EU representative will be a good opportunity to conduct useful negotiations with Turkmen colleagues and explore the opportunities and perspectives of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the European Union.
