Hezbollah Denies Any Link to Armed Group Detained in Syria

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Hezbollah in Lebanon has issued a strong denial regarding claims by the Syrian Ministry of Interior. The Media Relations Unit of Hezbollah Lebanon, in a statement responding to assertions made by the Syrian Ministry of Interior, categorically rejected any affiliation or connection with the nucleus that the Syrian Ministry of Interior reported detaining in the Yarmouk Basin region of Daraa province.

Hezbollah reiterated its stance, emphasizing that it has no presence on Syrian soil and is not involved in any security or military operations within the country. The party underscored its continuous commitment to the security, stability, and well-being of the Syrian people. It urged Syrian official bodies to remain vigilant against efforts aimed at implicating Hezbollah in such matters and inciting tension or discord between Lebanon and Syria.

The Lebanese party called on Syrian authorities to investigate the background of these allegations and the parties orchestrating them, suggesting that the true beneficiary of escalated tensions between the two nations is the Israeli enemy, which continues its aggressions against Syria and Lebanon and seeks to disrupt regional security and stability.
