Iraqi Leader Praises Prime Minister for Resuming Iran Flights

Hadi al-Amiri, director of the media office for the Secretary-General of the Badr Organization, has commended the Iraqi Prime Minister for efforts to reinstate flights between Iraq and Iran. This follows an agreement by the Iraqi government to allow 40 daily flights by Iranian airlines.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, following data published by the Mehr News Agency, quoting the official Iraqi News Agency (INA), Mohammed al-Razi, director of the media office for the Secretary-General of the Badr Organization, announced in a statement: Following the Iraqi government’s agreement for Iranian airlines to conduct 40 daily flights, Hadi al-Amiri has expressed his gratitude for the Prime Minister’s efforts in this regard.

He highlighted the deep ties between the Iranian and Iraqi peoples, stating that Iraq’s authentic approach is based on unity and solidarity. He emphasized that the historical connections and bridges between the Iraqi and Iranian nations are unbreakable, as Iran and Iraq are inseparable.

Al-Amiri’s remarks came hours after Iraq approved the establishment of 40 flights by Iranian airlines to Najaf, with the exception of Mahan Air.
