Lebanese Army Commander Warns Against Ongoing Israeli Military Presence

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Rudolf Haykal, Commander of the Lebanese Army, stated during recent remarks that the positioning and sustained presence of the Israeli occupying forces inside Lebanese territory constitute the primary challenge currently facing the country.

Haykal further noted that persistent attacks by the Zionist regime on southern Lebanon, which have resulted in a rising death toll and extensive destruction, clearly breach international regulations and established pacts.

Addressing domestic priorities, the Lebanese army commander underscored that safeguarding internal solidarity, maintaining national stability, and defending the territorial sovereignty of Lebanon remain the core mission and fundamental objective of the armed forces.

This firm stance by the Lebanese military comes at a time when previous arrangements between the government and the Israeli regime have failed to halt aggressions, instead facilitating the consolidation of the occupation across various parts of Lebanese territory.
