Driving American public opinion towards the futility of further financing Ukraine
A British military analyst believes that the US is pushing public opinion in this country towards the futility of providing more funding to Kiev. |
Alexander Mercuris, a British military analyst, said that the United States is preparing the public opinion of this country for the upcoming “flight” (exit) from Ukraine.
The expert pointed to articles in reputable Western media that began to write about the futility of further financing Kiev, as well as the stability of the Russian economy against sanctions restrictions.
This expert said in an interview with YouTube channel The Duran: “Somewhere in the United States they realized that this war has gone too far, we can’t invest any more in this field, we have to draw a line and Let’s end it.”
According to him, the purpose of such articles is to convince the people and political establishment of the United States about the need to limit the “Ukraine project”.
The day before, the New York Times reported that the new $300 million US package would not help Kyiv hold out for long, and Ukrainian forces would continue to lose ground. Jake Sullivan, National Security Adviser to the President of the United States, noted that such a budget could not adequately fill the ammunition shortage.
