Hamas warning: Israel should seize the opportunity to negotiate a ceasefire

One of the leaders of Hamas, while criticizing America’s negative portrayal of the cessation of the Gaza war, warned the Zionist regime to seize the opportunity for negotiations to establish a ceasefire.

Osama Hamdan, one of the leaders of Hamas, emphasized that this movement strongly seeks the end of the war in Gaza and has made every effort to bring humanitarian aid to Gaza.

Hamdan said in this regard: “Hamas has presented its general view regarding the ceasefire and the exchange of prisoners and has shown a lot of flexibility. At the moment, the ball is in Israel’s court”.

“Majed Al-Ansari”, the spokesman of Qatar’s Foreign Ministry, in announcing the latest developments in the Gaza ceasefire negotiations in Doha, said: “It is still too early to talk about the progress in the negotiations; But we are optimistic about this.
Al-Ansari also emphasized: the talks in Doha were focused on humanitarian aid and reaching a temporary ceasefire agreement. Negotiations to establish a ceasefire in Gaza and exchange prisoners with the mediation of Qatar and Egypt are currently being held in Doha, and Tel Aviv has recently announced that it has sent a delegation to Qatar for negotiations.

Hamadan stated that “Israel should seize this opportunity and stop delaying and deceiving”, and clarified: “Yesterday, the mediators conveyed to us Israel’s position regarding Hamas’ proposal.” Israel’s answer was negative in general”.

This Hamas leader noted: We are monitoring Israel’s behavior. In every round of negotiations, Israel will increase its crimes against our nation, but what it did not achieve through war, it will not achieve through political deception.”

Hamadan addressed America at the end and said: “If the American government is serious about stopping the mass killing in Gaza, it should stop sending weapons and equipment.” Israel’s crimes and mass killings in Gaza will not bring any victory for Netanyahu and the Israeli army.”
