Arab Parliament: The Gaza war is carried out with the aim of destroying the identity of a nation
The Arab parliament affiliated to the Arab League once again issued a statement condemning the Gaza war. |
Today is the 30th of March, Land Day in Palestine. On this day in 1976, 6 protesters were killed and more than 100 were injured during a peaceful Palestinian protest against the confiscation of their land by the Zionists. For this reason, Palestinians celebrate this day with the name of Land Day every year; An occasion that is intertwined with the Gaza war this year.
According to Al Jazeera, the Arab Parliament affiliated to the Arab League today (Saturday) issued a statement condemning the actions of the Zionist regime against the Palestinians in Gaza.
This statement states: The continuation of Israel’s war in Gaza is done with the aim of destroying the complete identity of a nation. Land Day in Palestine this year coincides with Israel’s war with the aim of genocide and displacement of Palestinians, which is violating all international laws.
This statement further asks the international community to undertake its political, legal, and moral duty and ensure the immediate establishment of a ceasefire in this conflict by intervening in this battle.
At the end, the Arab Parliament emphasizes: the international standards of justice must be applied in order to reach a final result, a fair and durable solution for the Palestinian issue.
Although the Arab Union has shown itself as a supporter of the Palestinian nation for a long time, those Arab countries that have tried to normalize relations with the Zionist regime have not taken any practical and diplomatic measures to put pressure on Tel Aviv.
