Hamas announced the lack of progress in the ceasefire negotiations
One of the senior leaders of Hamas says that the Gaza ceasefire negotiations are stuck in a "vicious circle" and it seems that the Zionist regime has no desire to release its hostages. |
Osame Hamdan, one of the leaders of Hamas, says that despite the flexibility of this movement, no progress has been made in the Gaza ceasefire negotiations.
According to Reuters, Hamdan said that Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of the Zionist regime, is not interested in the release of the Zionist hostages and creates obstacles on the way to an agreement.
This Hamas official announced in a press conference in Beirut: “The occupying government is still on the run and the negotiations are stuck in a vicious circle.”
It should be noted that, in the ceasefire talks, Hamas has demanded the comprehensive and complete withdrawal of the Zionist regime from the Gaza Strip, the return of all residents of Gaza to their homes, and the entry of humanitarian aid into the region.
The Israeli Prime Minister’s Office claimed on Tuesday that a Zionist delegation has returned from Cairo after preparing a new proposal for a “temporary” ceasefire. These statements were later denied by Hamas officials, and Bassem Naim, a senior official of the Islamic Resistance Movement, announced that no new proposals had been sent to the movement.
