Israeli officials informed this Hebrew-language media that the proposal of the head of the American Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) presented in Cairo includes the release of 900 Palestinian prisoners, which is 200 more than the previous proposal, in which only 700 people were announced.
This proposal emphasizes that 100 of these 900 prisoners should be released from among those who are serving life sentences for killing Israelis.
High-ranking Israeli officials also revealed that Israel is seeking to have veto power over names proposed by the other side. And at the same time, he emphasizes that these prisoners should be expelled from occupied Palestine so that it is not possible for them to return to the West Bank or the Gaza Strip.
