Iranian Yalda Celebration in Pakistan Showcases Sistan and Baluchestan Culture in Hyderabad

The Islamic Republic of Iran’s Cultural Center in Hyderabad, Pakistan, hosted artists, cultural enthusiasts, and prominent poets to celebrate Iranian Yalda, highlighting the traditions of Sistan and Baluchestan and strengthening cultural ties between Iran and Pakistan.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Islamic Republic of Iran‘s Cultural Center in Hyderabad, Pakistan, organized a cultural and artistic gathering to celebrate Iranian Yalda. The event, attended by artists, cultural figures, and renowned poets, aimed to promote Iranian traditions and rituals while fostering cultural bonds between Iran and Pakistan.

The ceremony featured poetry recitations, discussions on Persian literature, and cultural video presentations. Pakistani poets emphasized the significance of the Persian language and literature, showcasing the cultural exchange between the two nations.

A highlight of the event was the introduction of Sistan and Baluchestan as the province of the year. Mostafa Siasar, the head of the Islamic Revolution Art Center of Sistan and Baluchestan, presented the province’s handicrafts, natural beauty, and tourism opportunities. Videos showcasing the region’s cultural and tourism potential were also displayed.

This cultural event underscored the importance of preserving Iranian traditions abroad and provided an opportunity to enhance cultural relations between Iran and Pakistan, demonstrating how Iranian rituals can serve as a foundation for broader artistic and cultural collaborations.
