Israel Conducts Airstrikes on Southern Lebanon Amidst Ongoing Tensions

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Lebanese sources have reported Israeli airstrikes on multiple locations in southern Lebanon. The Israeli fighter jets reportedly struck areas surrounding the “Ali Taher” heights and “Al-Dibsheh” in the Nabatieh district, as well as the vicinities of the towns “Serbin” and “Qantara.” Earlier in July, Lebanon and the Israeli regime, with mediation from the United States, had reached a “framework agreement” intended to end the ongoing clashes. This agreement was a result of several rounds of negotiations between the involved parties, facilitated by Washington, and was announced with the objective of establishing a ceasefire and reducing tensions along the borders of Lebanon and occupied Palestine. Despite this accord, which has encountered various criticisms, the Israeli regime’s violations of the ceasefire persist.
