Hamas Denounces Description of Gaza Children’s Kite Flying as Armed Activity

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Bassim Naim, a member of Hamas‘s political bureau, has strongly denounced remarks made by an official from the “Peace Council” which described the cessation of armed activities in Gaza, including kite flying, as a prerequisite for peace. Naim highlighted that kites are flown by the children of Gaza.

“Is it conceivable to have such audacity that for the sake of pleasing Netanyahu, the innocent activities of children are described as armed activity?” Naim questioned.

He further stated that these remarks are being made even as Benjamin Netanyahu, according to his assessment, continues his campaign of killing and destruction in Gaza, despite existing agreements.
