UAE Foreign Minister Hails Russia-Ukraine Talks as Productive

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, UAE Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan has characterized the recent rounds of Russia-Ukraine talks held in Abu Dhabi as “productive and constructive.” The discussions, which took place in the UAE capital, reportedly demonstrated common ground between the parties involved.
Bin Zayed also highlighted positive signals from the start of a second round of trilateral talks involving Russia, Ukraine, and the U.S. in Abu Dhabi. He stated that these developments reflect the seriousness of the involved parties in pursuing diplomacy and efforts to alleviate human suffering caused by the four-year conflict.
The UAE Foreign Minister emphasized his country’s commitment to providing a supportive environment for dialogue and backing peaceful solutions. Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov had previously confirmed the initiation of talks between Russia, the U.S., and Ukraine in Abu Dhabi.
The Russia-Ukraine war, which began on February 24, 2022, continues with Moscow conditioning its end on Kyiv abandoning aspirations to join Western military alliances.
