New Epstein Documents Reveal Lawyer Also Represented Fethullah Gulen

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, newly disclosed documents in the Jeffrey Epstein case reveal that his attorney, Reid Weingarten, also provided legal representation for Fethullah Gulen, the leader of the Gulen movement. The documents, part of over three million records released by the U.S. Department of Justice, indicate Weingarten’s dual role in high-profile legal matters.
Epstein, accused of running a sex trafficking ring involving minors, died in a New York prison in 2019. Gulen, whose organization is designated as a terrorist group by Turkey, was accused of involvement in the failed 2016 coup attempt in Turkey. He passed away in October 2024 at his residence in Pennsylvania.
The records show Weingarten requested the preservation of case-related documents on Epstein’s behalf in 2019. Previously, he had represented Gulen in the U.S., denying allegations tied to the 2016 coup.
The Epstein case has implicated several international figures, including U.S. President Donald Trump, former President Bill Clinton, and Britain’s Prince Andrew, among others.
