4.5 Magnitude Earthquake Jolts Northeast of Iraq’s Muqdadiyah

A 4.5 magnitude earthquake struck the northeastern region of Muqdadiyah in Iraq’s Diyala Province, according to seismic data. The tremor occurred at a shallow depth near the Hamrin Lake.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, a 4.5 magnitude earthquake has shaken areas northeast of Muqdadiyah city in Iraq’s Diyala Province. The seismic event was registered by news sources within Iraq.
The earthquake occurred at 11:46:12 AM on February 20th, within the borders of Iraq. The epicenter of the tremor was located approximately 20 kilometers northeast of Muqdadiyah, in proximity to Hamrin Lake.
