US Forces Begin Withdrawal from Qasr K Base in Syria’s Hasakah

United States forces have commenced the evacuation of the Qasr K base in the Hasakah Governorate of Syria, signaling a potential shift in American military presence in the region. This withdrawal follows a series of troop movements and base handovers in the area.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, United States forces have begun evacuating the Qasr K base located in the outskirts of Hasakah, Syria. Reports from Syrian state television and Al-Araby network confirm that American troops are withdrawing from this installation as part of a broader redeployment from Syria.

These developments come shortly after the Syrian Ministry of Defense’s Information and Communications Department announced that the Syrian Army had taken control of the Al-Shadadi military base on the 15th of the current month. According to the Syrian Ministry of Defense’s statement, this transfer was coordinated with the American side.

Earlier, on the fifth of this month, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights had reported the withdrawal of international coalition forces from the Al-Shadadi base in the Hasakah countryside. These events suggest a potential alteration in the U.S. military’s footprint in the region.
