Qatar’s Foreign Minister Discusses Regional Developments with Arab Counterparts

Qatar’s Foreign Minister, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, engaged in separate phone calls with his counterparts from Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the UAE, and Egypt to discuss critical regional issues and their implications for international security and stability.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, in separate telephone conversations, the Foreign Minister of Qatar, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, spoke with the Foreign Ministers of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, and Egypt.

A statement from the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs indicated that the discussions centered on regional developments and their significant consequences for regional and international security and stability, as well as avenues for the peaceful resolution of all disputes.

The foreign ministers from Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the UAE, and Egypt emphasized the imperative to strengthen coordination and intensify joint efforts to immediately halt escalatory actions. They also stressed the importance of returning to the negotiating table and prioritizing rational discourse and wisdom to contain crises, thereby ensuring global security, freedom of navigation, environmental health, and the preservation of regional stability.
