Gaza Death Toll Climbs to 72,819 Amid Ongoing Israeli Attacks
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza has released its latest figures detailing the casualties resulting from Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip. The report, citing Al-Quds Al-Arabi, indicates that 16 bodies and 39 injured individuals were transferred to Gaza hospitals in the past 48 hours.
With these recent additions, the total number of martyrs since October 2023 has risen to 72,819, and the number of wounded has reached 172,894. The ministry also reported that since a ceasefire was implemented on October 10 of last year, 922 Palestinians have been killed and 2,786 others injured in Israeli attacks.
Despite the reported ceasefire, the Israeli army continues its assaults on various areas of the Gaza Strip, repeatedly violating the terms. These attacks have caused widespread destruction, leaving thousands of bodies still trapped under the rubble.
