Alarm Sirens Sound in Northern Israel Following Rocket Fire from Lebanon

Air raid sirens blared across several cities and areas in Upper Galilee, northern occupied Palestine, after a rocket was launched from southern Lebanon. Smoke was observed rising from a settlement near the Lebanese border.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, news sources reported that air raid sirens activated in several cities and areas of Upper Galilee, northern occupied Palestine, following the launch of a rocket from southern Lebanon. News outlets pointed to smoke rising from a Zionist settlement near the border between Lebanon and occupied Palestine after the sounding of the danger siren. The Israeli army claimed to have intercepted a rocket fired from Lebanon towards northern occupied Palestine. Concurrently, the Israeli army issued an urgent evacuation warning to residents of the towns of Al-Marwaniyah, Al-Lubiyah, Maydoun, Anṣariyya, Zifta, and Tuffiyta in southern Lebanon. This warning urged residents of these areas to immediately relocate north of the Litani River. Simultaneously, Al Jazeera’s correspondent reported an Israeli airstrike targeting a vehicle in the city of Nabatieh in southern Lebanon. Additionally, areas and towns in southern Lebanon, including Kfar Rouman, Arnoun, Al-Shaqif, the Litani River route, and Al-Shaqif Castle, were subjected to artillery attacks.
