Russia Launches Retaliatory Strikes on Ukrainian Defense Industries Following Kyiv’s Attacks

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that its armed forces, in response to terrorist attacks by Kyiv, carried out retaliatory strikes. These actions included the use of air-launched hypersonic ballistic missiles targeting defense industry companies in Kyiv, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, Khmelnytskyi, and Sumy.
The Russian Ministry of Defense emphasized that the objectives of the strikes were achieved, and all designated targets were successfully hit. Reports from Ukrainian media and the UNIAN news agency indicated that at least eight consecutive explosions were heard in the capital city of Kyiv early Tuesday morning. Similar explosions were also reported in Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolaiv, and Kharkiv.
These strikes follow a recent incident where a Ukrainian drone hit a student dormitory in Luhansk, causing the building to collapse and resulting in the deaths of 21 students and the injury of 44 others. The Russian military initiated its retaliatory attacks against Ukrainian positions in the aftermath of this event.
